"WashiPly" is the product name for our fleece-back veneer. We use "washi," unique to Japan, for the paper backing process. We supply fleece-back veneer to companies manufacturing watches, iPhone cases, baseball caps, and other items.
Due to its natural origin, the wood grain of each sheet will vary slightly. When ordering multiple sheets, we will provide sheets with continuous grain.
Hawaiian Koa (Acacia koa) is the largest endemic tree species in Hawaii. This beautiful wood was used by native Hawaiians for various purposes, including canoes, paddles, housing materials, and carvings. The wood is now popular with many people for flooring, bowl turning, picture frames, gunstocks, musical instruments, cabinetry, and gift items.
