This special 2-piece set combines two pieces of Curly Hawaiian Koa (Acacia koa) in 3A (Medium Grade) and 3A+ (Medium Grade).
Both pieces feature the distinctive golden-to-brown natural coloration of Hawaiian Koa, with each displaying its own natural curly figure and grain character.
KOA-BM-001 measures approximately 245 mm long, 100–125 mm wide, and 29 mm thick, while KOA-BM-002 measures approximately 245 mm long, 135 mm wide, and 26 mm thick.
The substantial thickness of both pieces provides flexibility for custom cutting and processing. Depending on your project requirements, they can be used for musical instrument components, woodworking, crafts, small wooden items, decorative pieces, and a variety of custom applications.
The wood is sourced directly from suppliers on Hawaii Island and supplied as part of an ongoing reforestation project.

Moisture Content & Drying
Our wood comes from naturally fallen trees or logs that have been air-dried in the forest for long periods.
Because of this, some pieces are ready to use, while others may require additional drying.
Hawaiian Koa is known as a wood that dries easily and is resistant to cracking and warping compared to many other tonewoods.
