This is a rare 3A+ (Medium Grade) Curly Hawaiian Koa set featuring the distinctive golden-to-brown natural coloration and beautiful three-dimensional curly figure characteristic of Hawaiian Koa.
The curly figure changes with the viewing angle and light, revealing natural depth, movement, and character across the surface of the wood.
This 4-piece set includes two bookmatched Back pieces and two Side pieces, selected and paired with consideration for the overall balance of grain and color. The dimensions are suitable for Tenor Ukulele construction.
The wood is sourced directly from suppliers on Hawaii Island and supplied as part of an ongoing reforestation project.
