It features a deep, strong curly grain and the beautiful gold to brown coloration unique to Hawaiian koa.
The grain appears three-dimensional depending on the angle of the light, allowing you to enjoy the presence of a top-grade material.
It is the ideal size for tenor ukulele production and can be used as both top wood and back wood.

Moisture Content & Drying
Our wood comes from naturally fallen trees or logs that have been air-dried in the forest for long periods.
Because of this, some pieces are ready to use, while others may require additional drying.
Hawaiian Koa is known as a wood that dries easily and is resistant to cracking and warping compared to many other tonewoods.
